About Chimelong Ocean Kingdom
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom brings marine exhibits, rides and large-scale entertainment together in Hengqin’s Chimelong destination. Its eight themed zones range from dolphin and polar settings to rainforest and a central ocean landscape. The combination matters: this is a park where an aquarium gallery, a rollercoaster and an evening performance can all be central to the same visit, rather than a ride park with an animal exhibit attached.
The marine galleries provide its most distinctive thread. Whale sharks, manatees and penguins appear among the highlighted exhibits, giving the day very different environments to explore. These are places to spend time looking, not simply entrances to pass on the way to the next ride. Visitors whose main interest is marine life will read the park differently from a group chiefly attracted by its coasters; both interests have a place in the plan.
The ride side includes the parrot-themed rollercoaster, an iceberg coaster and a large water ride.
