# Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure

Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure turns a Birmingham-area day out into a choice between water slides, pools and amusement rides. In Bessemer, it is a particularly useful fit for families whose idea of a good day includes both a splash and a spin. Make the water park the centre of the plan, then leave room for the dry rides when everyone wants a change of pace.

Rocket Racer and the Kahuna Wave Pool give the water side clear priorities, while children’s play areas and the Warrior Lazy River offer gentler alternatives. The pleasure is in finding a rhythm that suits the group: a shared swim, a bigger slide for the adventurous, and time to sit down together. Allow for changing and lunch rather than trying to squeeze both sides of the property into a hurried stop.

### Planning your visit

Use Splash Adventure Parkway and the current operator calendar for the programme on your chosen date. Compare the admission product and its actual inclusions before buying, then read the individual water and ride requirements. Plan supervision around children’s height and confidence rather than assuming a shallow-looking activity is suitable without an adult. Allow ample time for changing, lunch and rest so both halves of the outing can be enjoyed comfortably.

## THMPRK Score

7.1 /10

Alabama Adventure & Splash Adventure scores well for giving families more than one kind of activity in a single outing. Its best value is for visitors who will use a substantial part of the current water-and-amusement offering. Matching the visit to children’s requirements and the actual programme matters more than the park’s historic ride reputation.
