# Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park

Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park offers a city-based amusement day with fairytale styling, family attractions and a programme that can change markedly around festivals. West of central Beijing, it makes a different proposition from a large international resort park: a local outing where rides, performances and the atmosphere of a public celebration can share the focus.

The park’s current presentation includes a castle setting, a double-decker carousel, flight-themed experiences and other family amusements. Seasonal events can add music, performances and evening activities, but the ordinary park ticket and a special festival product should be read separately. Older descriptions and photographs are not a reliable inventory of current characters or attractions; the operator’s live programme is the better basis for choosing a visit.

## THMPRK Score

6.8 /10

Shijingshan scores for a varied urban amusement outing and the added character of its festival programmes. It can suit families who want a local park experience within Beijing. Value depends on the current ticket structure and event, while transport changes and the gap between old ride descriptions and today’s offering require care.
