# Djurs Sommerland

Djurs Sommerland gives a Djursland holiday a substantial park day, with a coaster collection that reaches well beyond the gentlest meaning of a family outing. The Nimtofte setting makes it a deliberate trip, but the range of rides gives different ages a reason to come. It is a park to use fully rather than a stop for one quick headline attraction.

Piraten is the prominent thrill draw, with Juvelen and DrageKongen offering contrasting coaster experiences. Family coasters and the wider play-and-ride offering let younger visitors build their own day. The water park adds another possibility when its operating calendar and your admission line up, though it should not displace every other priority simply because it is there.

### Planning your visit

Choose rides for the actual children and adults travelling, using the current height and access information. Plan the journey to Nimtofte and allow time for a proper meal. If using the water park, bring changing time into the itinerary rather than trying to squeeze it between two queues. A full day with a few shared priorities and room for repeats makes better use of the variety.
