# Dreamland Margate

Dreamland brings Margate’s seaside amusement tradition into a setting that also makes room for music, art and a roller disco. It is a place to enjoy the fairground’s visual character as much as the rides themselves. Families can build a light-hearted afternoon around the amusements, while other visitors may be coming for a separately ticketed performance rather than a conventional theme-park day.

The current ride collection includes the Big Wheel, Gallopers, dodgems and smaller family attractions, alongside more vigorous spinning rides. The Roller Room and food offering give the visit other directions. The amusement area is advertised as free to enter, with tokens and wristband products for riding; events and additional activities have their own terms. Check the programme when choosing between a casual ride visit and a longer evening of entertainment.

### Planning your visit

Use the official arrival guide for Hall By The Sea Road and the entrance appropriate to the day’s programme. Compare tokens with a wristband against the rides people can and want to use. Check amusement hours separately from concerts and indoor events, and understand whether an event changes access arrangements. Leave time for Margate outside the gates and plan layers for the coast. The best visit balances a handful of favourites with the pleasure of being at the seaside.

## THMPRK Score

6.8 /10

Dreamland scores for atmosphere, seaside identity and the flexibility to combine rides with a wider Margate visit. Its appeal extends beyond the size of the ride collection. Value depends on choosing the right ride product and distinguishing the amusement programme from separately ticketed events or indoor activities.
