# Avonturenpark Hellendoorn

Avonturenpark Hellendoorn makes its wooded Overijssel setting part of a family adventure day. It is a park to explore with children whose interests are beginning to stretch beyond the gentlest rides, while keeping a range of options for different levels of confidence. The surrounding Sallandse Heuvelrug landscape helps the outing feel connected to the region.

Balagos provides a looping-coaster option, with Rioolrat and Donderstenen offering different family experiences. RidderStrijd adds another style of coaster to the selection. Aquaventura Slidepark is a further possibility when its calendar and the chosen product fit, but the dry park already needs a plan that suits the actual riders in your party.

Aquaventura is inside Avonturenpark Hellendoorn and needs its own ticket in addition to main-park admission. It cannot be visited independently. If you want to include the slides, check their separate calendar and access arrangements before choosing your park date, and allow time for changing between the two parts of the day.

### Planning your visit

Use the current attraction map and height requirements to choose shared priorities before buying. Compare the slidepark's terms separately and allow for changing if it is part of the day. The operator's visitor address is on Luttenbergerweg; use that entrance guidance rather than a generic woodland destination. Leave room for lunch and repeat rides, especially when children discover a favourite they want to try again.

## THMPRK Score

6.8 /10

Hellendoorn earns its score as a wooded family park with a useful range of coaster experiences. It is most convincing for a group that wants a complete day at a manageable scale. Travellers seeking only major extreme rides will find a narrower proposition; the wider attraction mix and any slidepark inclusion determine value.
