# Julianatoren

Julianatoren makes younger children the main audience rather than an afterthought. On the edge of Apeldoorn, its rides, play areas and Jul & Julia entertainment give families a day designed around smaller adventures. It is a promising choice when children are enthusiastic about riding but the biggest coasters would add little to the visit.

Jul’s RollerSkates and the wider family ride collection offer different first steps into amusement-park thrills. Shows and character encounters add a separate rhythm, making it worth choosing a performance before filling every gap with another ride. The park’s strength is the concentration of child-sized choices: a favourite repeated together can be more valuable than a checklist completed once.

This is a park for the moment when a modest coaster still feels like a major expedition. Jul’s Rollerskates supplies that first big adventure; smaller rides and play areas let less confident children set their own pace. The concentration of family attractions is the point: parents can build a day around what the children want to do again, with a show providing a welcome change from the next ride. Come for shared excitement at a manageable scale rather than to chase the Netherlands’ tallest or fastest thrills.

### Planning your visit

Use Amersfoortseweg 35 and the park’s current arrival and parking guidance. The operator identifies children through about age ten as its main audience; individual ride requirements still govern what each child can do. Compare dated admission and parking as a full family cost and check the show programme. Allow a relaxed lunch and breaks, leaving enough flexibility to follow the children’s energy rather than an adult’s ambitious timetable.

## THMPRK Score

7.2 /10

Julianatoren scores well for its unusually clear focus on younger children and the amount of relevant riding and entertainment a family can enjoy together. That focus is also the key to value: it is a stronger choice for its intended audience than for older visitors seeking intense coasters.
