# Curry’s Fun Park Portrush

Curry’s Fun Park keeps a familiar amusement stop in the middle of a Portrush seaside day. On the former Barry’s site, it brings rides and games into a compact town-centre outing rather than a large destination-park itinerary. It suits families who want some fairground activity alongside time exploring the North Coast.

The offering spans children’s rides, stronger fairground choices and games, so choose around the actual group instead of assuming everyone needs the same amount of riding. The park’s heritage is part of its appeal, but the current operator’s attraction information should guide the plan. Older descriptions of Barry’s do not establish which rides are available today.

### Planning your visit

Head to the Portrush site on Eglinton Street. The operator also has a Salthill location, so make sure tickets, directions and ride information concern the right park. Compare the current access options with the experiences your party will use, and check individual requirements. Leave time for the beach or town rather than allowing optional game spending to dictate the whole day.

## THMPRK Score

6.3 /10

Curry’s Portrush scores well as a convenient family amusement stop within a seaside visit. Its character and location are stronger reasons to come than the expectation of a large thrill-park collection. A deliberate choice of rides and games keeps the outing’s cost proportionate.
