# Castles N’ Coasters

Castles N’ Coasters packages a surprisingly varied amusement outing into an urban Phoenix setting. The contrast is its attraction: loops and drops for the committed rider, miniature golf for the less persuaded companion and an arcade for a different kind of competition. It is an easy place to plan around a group’s actual interests instead of requiring everyone to spend an entire day chasing coasters.

Desert Storm supplies the looping-coaster centrepiece, while Patriot offers another level of coaster ambition. Splashdown, the carousel and other family rides widen the range. Four miniature-golf courses and the multilevel arcade are substantial alternatives, not just things to do while waiting for a rider. Go-karts and other activities have their own participation rules, making the attraction-by-attraction guide useful before purchasing.

### Planning your visit

Head to North Metro Parkway East and check the separate hours for the thrill park, golf and arcade. Compare the relevant pass with the activities each person will actually use, allowing separately for games and food. Phoenix heat should shape the rhythm of the day: plan drinks, rest and time indoors, then fit outdoor activities around the conditions. Read accompanying-rider and height rules rather than judging suitability from the ride’s appearance.

## THMPRK Score

6.8 /10

Castles N’ Coasters earns its score through a useful combination of coasters, miniature golf and indoor games. It serves mixed groups better than its compact urban setting might suggest. Outdoor comfort and the details of the chosen pass are the principal trade-offs, especially when not everyone wants the same activities.
