# Gilroy Gardens

Gilroy Gardens makes trees and gardens part of the attraction rather than scenery between rides. This is a family theme park with a horticultural personality: a place to slow down, follow children’s interests and notice the landscape. It is a particularly appealing choice when your group would enjoy gentle exploration as much as the next ride.

 

The Circus Trees are a distinctive reason to look beyond the ride list. Quicksilver Express and Timber Twister give the park its coaster offering, while family rides, water attractions and educational activities round out the day. The scale of the thrills matters: this is a different proposition from a park built around an escalating series of extreme coasters, and its best audience is the one that welcomes that difference.
