# Sesame Place Philadelphia

Sesame Place Philadelphia turns familiar characters into a park day designed around younger families. In Langhorne, the strongest memories may come as much from recognising a favourite friend or watching a parade as from riding. It is a particularly good fit when the children are at the stage to enjoy the whole Sesame Street setting, rather than looking chiefly for larger coasters.

Family rides, character encounters, shows and water attractions give the outing several speeds. The wet and dry programme makes planning important: seasonal water access and a particular event’s offerings should not be assumed from a general park photograph. The park’s accessibility resources are worth reading in relation to individual activities, because a family-friendly presentation does not remove specific participation or sensory requirements.

### Planning your visit

Use Sesame Road in Langhorne, rather than central Philadelphia, and choose the dated admission product that matches the visit. Check the show programme and children’s ride requirements before setting priorities. If water play is part of the day, allow for changing, storage and a quieter break. Compare food, parking and optional upgrades within the complete budget, and leave enough flexibility for a character encounter or a repeat favourite without turning the day into a timetable.

## THMPRK Score

7.4 /10

Sesame Place Philadelphia scores for a coherent younger-family experience in which characters, shows and rides reinforce one another. Its strongest value comes when the children are the right age for the Sesame Street setting. Seasonal water programmes and extra costs around the ticket need to be matched to the family’s actual plan.
