# Wonderland Amusement Park

Wonderland Amusement Park gives Amarillo a traditional family park day, with coasters, familiar rides and smaller children’s attractions rather than an elaborate resort setting. It suits visitors who want the pleasure of a local amusement park and the freedom to make a few favourites the centre of the outing. The right expectations make its manageable scale an advantage.

The collection spans coasters and thrill rides, family classics, children’s rides and water-based attractions. Miniature golf, games and food give the group ways to change pace. Water rides do not automatically make the destination a separate water park or resort, and their participation requirements differ from those of gentler attractions. Check the current collection and purchase options instead of relying on an old ride list or another Wonderland’s publicity.

### Planning your visit

Use Dumas Drive in Amarillo and the current calendar to choose a date. Review height and accompanying-rider rules before comparing the relevant ticket options. Keep games, food and any separately charged activity in the total outing budget. Plan drinks and rest around outdoor Panhandle conditions, with a calmer stop between demanding rides. A modest shared itinerary leaves room for repeats and helps families enjoy the park’s traditional character without turning it into a completion challenge.
