# Barry Island Pleasure Park

Barry Island Pleasure Park puts fairground rides at the heart of a Welsh seaside outing. On Friars Road, close to the beach, it is somewhere to choose a handful of thrills, share family rides and keep the waterfront in the day. The setting is as much part of the attraction as any single ride.

Aerospace, Top Scan and Freak Out cater to a taste for height and spinning, while gentler amusements give families other ways to join in. Free entry and token-based rides make a selective visit straightforward: choose what appeals, then leave room for the beach and something to eat. There is no need for everyone in the group to ride the same things.

## THMPRK Score

6.3 /10

Barry Island earns its score for a classic seaside setting and a ride mix that can be fitted around a broader day out. It offers its best value when the group chooses rides deliberately. Visitors expecting an all-day destination park should understand the different style of experience here.
