# Hurricane Harbor New Jersey

Hurricane Harbor New Jersey gives a Jackson park trip a water day alongside Great Adventure’s coasters and safari experiences. The parks share a wider destination, but the water park has its own gate and purpose. It is a better choice for a deliberate swim-and-slide outing than a hurried hour added to an already full amusement-park schedule.

Big Wave Racer turns a slide into a head-first mat race, while Big Bambu and Reef Runner provide shared raft experiences. Blue Lagoon adds another part of the water-park day. Match the attractions to the people travelling: height, weight, swimming confidence and the ability to use the ride’s entry system all matter.

### Planning your visit

Check the exact Hurricane Harbor access in the ticket or pass you are considering. Follow the Great Adventure destination's current arrival guidance and the water-park signs, then allow time for changing and storing belongings. A group with different riding ambitions should agree meeting points and shared breaks. Keep safari experiences and other parts of the resort as separate decisions unless the selected product expressly includes them.

## THMPRK Score

6.5 /10

Hurricane Harbor New Jersey earns its score through a varied water day that complements the wider Great Adventure destination. It is strongest when the group wants shared raft rides and a change from coaster queues. Value depends on precise park access and enough time to enjoy the water park without compressing the rest of the trip.
