About Idlewild & SoakZone
Idlewild & SoakZone is a family day in Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands with a different emphasis from a coaster-led park. Ligonier is the setting for a visit that works best when younger children can set some of the pace. Storybook imagination, modest-scale rides and water play offer reasons to linger without making the tallest attraction the measure of success.
Rollo Coaster and Wild Mouse provide the coaster choices, but the park's wider identity is rooted in family attractions and SoakZone. Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood adds a familiar character connection for young visitors. The sensible question is which parts your children will enjoy together, rather than how the ride count compares with a major thrill destination.

Planning your visit
Decide in advance whether water play is a central part of the visit, and check SoakZone's own schedule and admission terms. Bring what you need for changing and build in an unhurried meal. Use the operator's current Route 30 arrival address, which differs from some older directory entries. Read boarding requirements before promising a particular ride, and let a short list of favourites leave room for discovery.
