About Crown Cave
Crown Cave changes the perspective on Guilin’s celebrated scenery. Above ground, the Li River landscape is a procession of peaks and villages; at Guanyan, the journey continues into an underground river environment. The combination makes this more than a stop to photograph a cave entrance: it is a way to connect the region’s dramatic surface with the geology beneath it.
The scenic area includes the underground river and transport-based sightseeing experiences, with the surrounding Caoping countryside forming part of the appeal. It can sit within a wider Li River itinerary, but a cave visit and a river journey are separate products unless a booking specifically combines them. Transport modes and route availability should be checked for the chosen visit, especially when steps or transfers affect the group.

Planning your visit
Head for the Crown Cave scenic area at Caoping, not a similarly named cave or a central Guilin office address. Confirm the visitor entrance, the route included in your ticket and how you will return after any onward river travel. Ask about the actual walking surfaces, steps and transfers rather than assuming that scenic transport removes every access challenge. Give the landscape time on either side of the cave; a rushed stop misses much of what makes this part of Guilin distinctive.
