Destination guide

Central Bohemian Region

Central Bohemia’s aquatic-attraction history includes a destination marketed with the nearby capital’s name.

The story behind the day out

A Prague name outside the city boundary

Aquapalace Praha began operating on 7 May 2008 in Čestlice. The associated hotel opened later that year, in November, according to the property owner’s annual report. The sequence connects a large water-recreation complex with overnight accommodation. It also explains why the Prague brand should not obscure the actual regional setting: the destination belongs to Central Bohemia, beyond Prague’s municipal boundary.
