The story behind the day out
Dinosaurs link a museum idea with amusement
China Dinosaurs Park opened in 2000. Changzhou’s official historical account traces the project to agreements in 1997 and describes the China Dinosaur Museum as its core. Rides, performance and recreation were brought together with science popularization. The origin explains the park’s distinctive theme: dinosaurs were not simply a decorative overlay on an existing fairground, but part of the development’s original cultural and educational concept.
