Destination guide
Mexico City’s amusement history includes a familiar site that has passed through different park identities.
The story behind the day out
La Feria de Chapultepec opened in 1964. The city’s official visitor guide describes the later development of Parque Urbano Aztlán on that site. The continuity is geographical, while the attraction itself has changed. This distinction matters in a city with strong memories of its older parks: a historic name, a surviving location and a current visitor destination are related, but they are not interchangeable descriptions.
