The story behind the day out
A night-time show precedes the day park
Puy du Fou’s Cinéscénie began in 1978. The Grand Parc followed in 1989, adding daytime entertainment to a destination first associated with an evening production. The two dates should not be collapsed into a single opening. They describe the development of a performance-led attraction, where staging, costumes and dramatic environments became the main way to organize the visitor experience.
