The story behind the day out
An indoor park becomes part of the city
Lotte World Adventure opened on 12 July 1989. Hotel Lotte’s corporate timeline records it as an indoor theme-park development, connecting the attraction with a wider hospitality business. The opening offers a different model from a remote destination park: entertainment could be organized within a substantial building complex in the city. Its founding date belongs to Lotte World Adventure, rather than every later attraction carrying the Lotte World name.
