About Baishinji Park
Baishinji Park offers a quieter coastal interlude in Matsuyama, with flowering trees and a railway connection giving a small garden visit a clear sense of place. It is the sort of stop that can make a journey along the coast feel like part of the holiday, rather than merely the time between larger attractions.
The current Iyotetsu destination centres on a walking garden, seasonal blossoms and the displayed Botchan locomotive. Those are the reasons to come now, rather than the coaster collection described in an old amusement-park entry. Spring flowers give the visit a particular focus, but the railway heritage and seaside neighbourhood provide interest beyond a single flowering week.

Planning your visit
Use the current garden address near Baishinji Station and check the operator’s visitor information for access and parking. The larger parking area has booking arrangements, so do not assume that arriving by car is as simple as finding an unrestricted space. Allow a comfortable walk through the garden, with nearby seaside time treated as a separate part of the plan. Check individual access needs directly and keep expectations at the scale of a garden and heritage stop; this is not an operating thrill-ride park.
