About Calaway Park
Calaway Park gives the Calgary area a family amusement day west of the city. Its mix of coasters, smaller rides and other entertainment makes it a useful destination when different ages want different levels of adventure. It works best with a generous block of time rather than as a quick interruption to a much longer journey.
Vortex provides a major coaster priority, with family rides and attractions offering less intense alternatives. The park also has shows, a 3D theatre and play-oriented experiences, so a successful visit need not revolve entirely around riding. Choose priorities using the current height guide and the interests of the actual children and adults travelling.

Planning your visit
Use the operator’s Range Road 33 directions and check its guidance for navigation systems; the park warns that its address can sometimes produce an incorrect map location. Compare the ticket and any accommodation package against the benefits you will use. Leave food, breaks and movement around the park proper time. Optional games and purchases should be deliberate additions to the day’s budget.
