About Centreville Amusement Park
The journey gives Centreville much of its charm. A ferry ride across Toronto’s harbour replaces the city streets with island paths, and the amusement park continues that gentler pace. On Centre Island, the emphasis is on family rides and young children rather than an imposing skyline of coasters. It is a particularly natural choice when the adults want a day outdoors as much as the children want rides.
Centreville’s traditional amusement collection sits within the wider Toronto Islands setting. The park offers ride passes as well as individual ride tickets, while strolling through the amusement area does not require a ride purchase. Far Enough Farm adds another family stop when operating. The islands and the amusement park are different operations, so year-round access to the public park does not mean the rides run throughout the year.

Planning your visit
Plan the ferry to Centre Island from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal at 9 Queens Quay West; that mainland terminal is not Centreville’s location. Allow time for both crossings and the walk on the island, and check the return arrangements before settling into the day. Compare passes with individual rides according to the children’s heights and interests. Pack for an outdoor waterfront outing and leave enough slack that transport does not become a race.
