About Playland
Playland gives Vancouver a traditional amusement-park day within the wider PNE grounds. Its established wooden Coaster and newer thrills make the destination appealing to riders, while smaller attractions allow a different family pace. It is a distinct outing from attending the PNE Fair, even though those experiences share the same larger property.
Coaster and ThunderVolt provide contrasting priorities, with the family collection supporting younger visitors. The character of the visit depends on the actual programme: the regular park season and a dedicated evening event are different products with different audiences. Choose the experience that suits the group rather than assuming every ticket to the PNE grounds includes the same ride access.

Planning your visit
Use the PNE visitor address on East Hastings Street, then follow the Playland entrance guidance for Hastings and Windermere. The administration-office approach is not automatically the right arrival gate for a park visit. Compare admission, parking and any event-specific access, checking the individual ride requirements. Public transport is a practical option to consider. Leave time for food and rest, and build the itinerary around the actual opening calendar.
