About Moomin World
Moominworld is a storybook day on Kailo Island beside Naantali, built around Tove Jansson's characters rather than mechanical thrills. Its strongest audience is the one happy to explore slowly, recognise familiar places and meet the inhabitants of the Moomin stories. That makes it a distinctive family visit, especially when the books are already part of home life.
The Moominhouse, character encounters and theatrical programme provide the anchors, with fairytale locations giving children reasons to follow their own curiosity. This is not a conventional coaster itinerary. Leave time for play and conversation instead of expecting every highlight to announce itself as a large ride.

Planning your visit
Use the official arrival guidance carefully. The Moomin Car Park is away from the island, with a bus connection to the old town and a further walk to the attraction. Its navigation address is a parking address, while Kaivokatu in the website footer is an office contact address. Choose the appropriate route, check the programme's language arrangements, and leave the day loose enough for young visitors to enjoy the details.
