About Play Village at Korean Folk Village
Play Village adds a family-amusement chapter to a day at Korean Folk Village. In Yongin, it lets a group move between traditional culture and the immediate pleasure of rides, giving younger visitors another way to engage with a destination that rewards more than one kind of attention.
Formerly known as Doocoland, the amusement area sits inside Korean Folk Village. Its family coaster and other attractions complement the wider village’s restored Joseon-era setting, demonstrations and seasonal performances. The combination is the point: riding need not displace the cultural visit, and the cultural programme need not make the day feel like a school assignment.

Planning your visit
Use the Korean Folk Village visitor entrance on Minsokchon-ro and confirm the current ticket’s amusement inclusions. Choose suitable rides after checking individual requirements, then work them around the presentations the group most wants to see. Leave time for the market-street food and a slower walk through the village. Separately booked special experiences may have their own conditions, so distinguish ordinary admission from optional activities before committing the day’s budget.
