About Lihpao Discovery World
Discovery World is the theme-park part of Lihpao Resort in Taichung’s Houli District. Its rides make a substantial family outing, while the wider destination adds hotels, shopping and other leisure choices. Keeping those layers separate makes the trip easier to plan: this guide concerns the amusement park, rather than every experience sold under the Lihpao name.
Gravity Max gives coaster enthusiasts an unusual headline experience, with Mine Express and the wider family offering supporting a less intense route. A mixed group should choose its shared attractions before allowing one signature ride to dictate the entire visit. The neighbouring Mala Bay water park and the resort’s other activities are additional decisions, not areas to assume are included in every Discovery World ticket.

Use the current Lihpao visitor directions for Houli and the Furong Road resort address; older references use an Anmei Road address for the same park area. Select Discovery World specifically when checking admission, height requirements and the park map. Compare any multi-attraction or hotel package against the actual itinerary. Give travel, meals and rest enough time, especially if planning another resort activity on the same day.
