The experience
Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park pairs table-service dining with the waterside setting of Pirates of the Caribbean. Lanterns and nighttime sounds create the impression of an evening outdoors. The setting is the main reason to compare it with other sit-down choices.
Choose the meal, then check the menu
The official lunch menu includes choices such as gumbo, a Monte Cristo and larger entrées. Menu items and accompaniments can change. Review the correct meal period before choosing; a broad price range on the restaurant page is not the price of every complete meal.
Book with the terms in view
Disney’s restaurant page recommends advance reservations. Review the cancellation and no-show terms during booking, and check the park-entry requirements separately. A restaurant reservation does not provide park admission.
A setting with a long history
Disney dates the restaurant’s opening to 1967. Watching the boats pass is part of its identity, but a particular waterside table is not promised here. Ask the restaurant about seating and access needs before relying on a specific arrangement.
