About Playland
Playland gives a Rye visit a traditional amusement-park day beside Long Island Sound. Its waterfront setting and established ride character are central to the appeal. It is a good choice when the group wants coasters and family amusements with room for a boardwalk stroll, rather than the scale of a large themed resort.
Dragon Coaster provides a clear wooden-coaster priority, while smaller rides offer alternatives for younger visitors. The wider Playland destination also has beach, pool and neighbouring cultural experiences, but those are different parts of the outing with their own arrangements. Keep the amusement park at the centre of the plan if riding is the reason to come.

Planning your visit
Use the current Westchester County operator site and 1 Playland Parkway for the Rye park. This is a different Playland from the amusement park in Vancouver. Compare ride access, parking and any beach or pool plans separately, checking individual participation requirements before buying. Leave time for food, rest and the waterfront so the setting becomes part of the day rather than something passed on the way to a ride.
