About Chimelong Water Park
Chimelong Water Park does not treat getting wet as a gentle diversion from a theme-park trip. Its towers, funnels and water coasters make the water itself the main event. In Guangzhou’s Panyu district, the park combines big shared-raft rides with a wave pool and a river, giving a group several ways to spend the day without asking everyone to enjoy the same intensity.
The recent slide collection adds a clear reason for water-ride enthusiasts to pay attention. Double Storm Blaster sends a raft through a pair of enormous funnels; Turbo Twin Surf changes the shape of that shared-raft thrill, while the Maglev Water Launcher uses powered acceleration to make a water coaster feel distinctly different from a gravity-only slide. Choose the rides that suit your group, then let the pools and river provide a different pace between them. A successful day here need not mean working through every tower.
For families, the useful question is not simply whether the park has children’s areas, but how much of the day everyone can enjoy together. Check the individual height, weight, flotation and companion requirements before choosing your priorities. Agree where to meet, sort out belongings before the first ride, and keep a dry change of clothes for the journey back. Heat, sun and repeated climbs can be as tiring as the headline slides.
The park belongs to Guangzhou Chimelong, a wider destination with the separate Chimelong Paradise theme park, animal parks, circus and hotels. It is not the Chimelong resort in Hengqin near Zhuhai. Give each experience its own place in the itinerary and compare the actual admission package rather than assuming the shared brand means a shared ticket. A water-park day earns its time when it changes the rhythm of the trip, not when it becomes another attraction squeezed into an already full afternoon.

Planning your visit
Choose two or three priority slides before arrival, then group them by area. Alternate towers with the wave pool, river, food and rest. Allow time for changing and collecting belongings rather than planning rides up to the last minute.
