About Adventure Island
Adventure Island gives a Tampa trip a day in swimwear, with a different rhythm from neighbouring Busch Gardens. Slides, water play and places to float make it especially appealing when a group wants to stay active without spending every hour on a major thrill ride. Choose it as a water-park outing in its own right, rather than merely a gap between theme-park days.
Solar Vortex and the raft-slide choices provide the stronger riding priorities, while Castaway Falls and Shaka-Laka Shores give family water play its own focus. Pools and the river widen the ways to spend the day. The best route depends on swimming confidence and individual ride requirements as much as on age.

Planning your visit
Check the park's own calendar and exact ticket before arranging the visit. Use the North McKinley Drive front entrance; the operator distinguishes that visitor address from its mailing arrangements. Allow for changing, lockers, a meal and proper time out of the water. If pairing the trip with Busch Gardens, compare the actual multi-park product rather than assuming neighbouring parks share admission.
