About Superior Shores Waterpark
Superior Shores Waterpark brings a distinctly Minnesota identity to the water side of Valleyfair. In Shakopee, it offers a different rhythm from the host park’s coasters: a swim, a slide and time for a family to regroup between bigger adventures. It is a natural choice for visitors who want water recreation to be part of an amusement day rather than a completely separate trip.
The water park adopted the Superior Shores name in 2026, replacing Soak City. The current offering combines slides, wave-pool recreation and younger-family water play within Valleyfair’s programme. Older attraction names and lists may describe the previous version, so use the current water-park guide when setting priorities. The water area’s season and hours are distinct from those of dry rides and special events elsewhere in the park.

Planning your visit
Use Valleyfair Drive in Shakopee and the current map for the water-park approach within the site. Check the chosen admission product, participation rules and water-area calendar before packing. Allow time for lockers, changing and rest, especially if combining swimming with a full ride day. Compare optional rentals and food with the family’s actual needs rather than assuming a cabana is essential. A clear water-and-rides plan makes the combined destination easier to enjoy.
