About Gilroy Gardens
Gilroy Gardens makes trees and gardens part of the attraction rather than scenery between rides. This is a family theme park with a horticultural personality: a place to slow down, follow children's interests and notice the landscape. It is a particularly appealing choice when your group would enjoy gentle exploration as much as the next ride.
The Circus Trees are a distinctive reason to look beyond the ride list. Quicksilver Express and Timber Twister give the park its coaster offering, while family rides, water attractions and educational activities round out the day. The scale of the thrills matters: this is a different proposition from a park built around an escalating series of extreme coasters, and its best audience is the one that welcomes that difference.

Planning your visit
Give the gardens and nature-focused experiences a place in the plan from the start. Review the current ride requirements for younger children, compare tickets with membership only if repeat visits are realistic, and bring what you need for the water attractions you intend to use. The operator publishes a dedicated directions page for Hecker Pass Highway. Leave time for meals and a relaxed loop through the grounds; the setting is part of what you are paying to enjoy.
