Hurricane Harbor New Jersey gives a Jackson park trip a water day alongside Great Adventure's coasters and safari experiences. The parks share a wider destination, but the water park has its own gate and purpose. It is a better choice for a deliberate swim-and-slide outing than a hurried hour added to an already full amusement-park schedule.
Big Wave Racer turns a slide into a head-first mat race, while Big Bambu and Reef Runner provide shared raft experiences. Blue Lagoon adds another part of the water-park day.
